My goal is to listen for you say, "I never thought of that..."
What separates Jodi from other interior designers has more to do with her innate abilities than it does with specific training or even experience. "It's about intuition, about developing a deep understanding of the client's needs,"Jodi says. "I pay attention to things like body language and subtle cues that give me the feedback I need. I do my best to pay attention and monitor their response throughout the process"
In retrospect, it's easy to see her calling to interior design started at a young age, even if her path to manifesting it wasn't so direct. "Other kids would be watching cartoons or sit com re-runs and I was like, totally riveted by This Old House and that was when I was 8 years old."
"The biggest key for me is that I realized interior design is my passion, and I am happiest working in this field and especially for myself," she says. "All the stress and business-building is worth it on every level."
